Debbie Tappmeyer

Administrative Assistant

Debbie joined the Cypress View team in November of 2015.  For the past 36 years she has been in the accounting and legal world, Debbie took a leap of faith into the veterinary world when an opportunity to transition from client to coworker presented itself and she has settled in despite the learning curve .   Debbie is originally from Robsart/Consul Saskatchewan and brings to us her experience in accounting and a Business Admin Degree.  Debbie is very involved in our community and has been a Big Sister for 15 years and even boasted the title of best Big Sister of the Year in 2007.  She also enjoys track and fastball participating as a coach for 11 years.  Debbie and her husband Juergen spend their home time camping, visiting garage sales, gardening and loving on the furkids.  Its not only the furry variety that holds a special place in Debbies’ big heart; her 95 year old grams is a rock in her life whom she talks to every day.  Three lucky furry boys call Debbie mom, Dino, Bam Bam, and Kiesel.  Dino is the showboat of the house and says his prayers, rolls over and plays dead.  Kiesel whom was adopted at 9 has learned how to play with toys also how to give high fives.  Bam Bam is just a loveable “grumps” and eats cookies for being cute.  All three boys are very dedicated to oral health and Debbie calls them for toothpaste every night and they all come running to have their teeth treated with oratene.  Debbie has settled in and is fighting Dawn for her place here in the clinic as resident puppy snuggler.  Be careful if you have a new cute addition Debbie may just steal him or her for some snuggles and love.
