Our Veterinarians

Dr. Peggy Taylor-Mason
Veterinarian
Dr. Mason grew up on a farm in Southern Saskatchewan, and always knew she wanted to pursue a career involving animals. She attended Fairview College and received her diploma in Animal Health Technology. After working as an AHT for a year, she went back to university and graduated from WCVM in 1992. She joined Cypress Clinic that same year, and became a partner in 2004. She still finds veterinary medicine to be a satisfying, sometimes challenging, but always fascinating career choice.

Peggy still follows her passion of horseback riding, having found her “dream horse”, Mr. Topper. She is a member of the Hat Art Club, and enjoys working in pastels and watercolors. She shares her home with her family, two cats, and two dogs!
Dr. Michelle Rowe
Veterinarian
Dr. Rowe graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island in 1998 and started her veterinary career in a small animal clinic in Lethbridge, Alberta. After several years, she moved to Medicine Hat and has been a partner here at Cypress View since 2011. Dr. Rowe loves being in practice, as evidenced by the enthusiasm she shows every day toward both her patients and her clients. In her spare time,

Michelle enjoys running, biking, kicking and playing in the snow, however her real passion involves riding her horse Belgo and spending time with her two dogs Benny and Bozo, and two cats Goober and Puddles. The cats are the resident snugglers and can often be found drooling out of sheer happiness by the fireplace. Benny and Bozo are both characters and are often found out exercising with Dr. Rowe, that is if they don’t just lay down and refuse to join her, which does happen from time to time.
Dr. Andrea Storch
Veterinarian
Dr. Storch first joined Cypress View Vet in 2013 as a second-year veterinary summer student. After graduating from the University of Calgary in 2015, she returned as an associate Veterinarian. As of 2016, Dr. Storch became a partner in the practice. Aside from her daily duties at the clinic, Dr. Storch can often be found volunteering in the community. Since finishing school, she has had more time to dedicate to encouraging young women to pursue the sciences and continues to work on the Cypress View Vet for a Day Program. Aside from these endeavors, she also sits on a variety of committees. She is passionate about surgery (orthopedic and soft tissue), rehabilitation therapy, dentistry, and visiting with her clients and patients.

Originally from a small farm near Ardmore, AB, she has called Medicine Hat her home since 2007. Growing up, Dr. Storch had a passion for both animals and medicine which meant pursuing Veterinary Medicine would combine all her interests into one perfect career. She currently resides with her husband and brood of pets including their dogs Winnie and Link and their four cats – Smokie, Squeekers, Nermal, and Buddha.

Life at home is fairly quiet after spending time on her career and community. Dr. Storch enjoys watching movies with her husband, Jason, and fur kids as well as fishing, knitting, reading, and playing the piano. Though quiet, there is never a dull moment in the Storch household! It is not uncommon for Dr. Storch to find herself at the bottom of a kitty/dog pile when she gets home, and she wouldn’t change it for the world.
